CCY will be holding an informal evening for parents of new members to give the opportunity to ask questions and find out more about what we do and of course how you can help us - 15th November 2011 - CCY Scout Hut - Light refreshments available by way of enticement

The location and date for the 2011 Group Camp has been booked - Cranham Scout Camp Gloucester 17-18 June 2011.

In order distinguish ourselves from the Nailsea Scouts and more closely identify ourselves with the Yatton sports clubs, we have changed our colours to Black and Gold. The first new scarves were handed out at the end of of annual group camp and are now proudly worn by all our section leaders and members alike.

After six years as beaver leader I have decided it is time to hang up my scarf and woggle. The good news is I shall continue as leader until the end of the school year in July but we will need a new leader for Wednesday beavers from September. If you are interested, or know anyone else who may be, do get in touch to talk about it - it really isn't difficult, is very rewarding and loads of fun, I certainly wouldn't have stayed so long if it wasn't.
